KMIŤ s.r.o. is one of Slovakia’s leading manufacturers of technical textile components, with more than 35 years of tradition and expertise. The company’s roots date back to the early 1990s, when it began establishing its position in the production of shoelaces, cords, and webbings. Through decades of experience, specialized know-how, and continuous development, KMIŤ s.r.o. has evolved into a stable and reliable partner for both domestic and international customers. Over the course of its history, the company has produced more than 300 types of shoelaces and over 500 types of webbings. 

Its product portfolio includes shoelaces, cords, garment cords, parachute cords, webbings, binding tapes, twill tapes, grosgrain ribbons, and a wide range of other technical textile components. 

Production utilizes advanced materials such as polyester, polyamide, polypropylene, cotton, Kevlar®, Nomex®, and antistatic yarns. Products can be enhanced with specialized finishes, including waxing, hydrophobic treatments, and flame-retardant coatings, making them suitable for demanding technical applications. KMIŤ s.r.o. products are widely used in the footwear and textile industries, as well as in the manufacture of outdoor and sports equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and various other technical textile applications.
