MEDEKO is a Slovak family company producing metal castings and semi-finished products. We are also the largest trader of non-ferrous metals in Slovakia. Our production is located in Považská Bystrica, from where we export products all over the world. Our effort is to build stable, long-term business relationships with partners and contribute to increasing the competitiveness of their final products. We employ approximately 250 people and achieve an annual turnover of EUR 50 million. MEDEKO builds on the rich history of foundry and engineering production in the region of upper Považia. The company was founded in 1994 by Pavol Demáček together with his wife. Since then, it has gone through several phases of development, including an intergenerational management change in 2020. The founder's daughter, Kristína Lang, took over the management, along with long-time company manager Petr Huljak. The company's production program consists of precision castings made of steel, stainless steel and bronze. Mold castings from copper alloys and aluminum. We value the purchased material and return it to production. We are aware of our responsibility in protecting the environment, which is why, in addition to metal recycling, we have introduced other ecological technologies in our production. We operate a solar power plant with an output of 1MWh, and we use all the electricity produced in our production. We recently built a new modern hall for the production of precision castings, which is energy-efficient and meets strict ecological standards.
